Our Relative Father Time

When I took this picture In the rectory at St Joseph Cathedral in Buffalo, I was whimsically attempting to create an image of anticipation immediately before my formation brothers were ordained 5 years ago today.  Yet time can be relative, and I can easily see in their expressions an appropriate response as they look back at 5 years of ordained ministry.  I can also see the emotions we felt as we discussed with our wives just last week, that we have now know each other for 10 years.

Happy anniversary Kathe, Sam, Kathy, Don, Lynn, and Mike!  You are our sisters and brothers.  Mary Jane and I are blessed to have shared so much with you over the last 10 years.  We have shared not only in ministry but in all that life brings, the sorrowful, the joyful, and the routine.  We can’t wait to see what the next decade brings.
