Home Away From Home (Until Thursday)

We arrived in Entebbe last night around 1:15 AM, and after getting processed through customs, we were warmly greeted by Fr. Emmanuel Katabaazi and his brother Frank. Their generous hospitality was a healing balm to our weary band of travelers. Rather than staying in Entebbe they drove us to Kampala and helped us to get settled in at St. Augustine’s Institute, which is a retreat and conference center used by the Bishop’s and priests of Uganda when they have reason to be in Kampala. The accommodations are simple and comfortable and the grounds are beautiful.
